Mixing commercials, really?
Apparently somebody is painting the outline of some elements of previous advertisements on the protection glass. When the poster is removed and replaced by a new one, traces of the previous one remain.
Now guess what was the previous commercial in the following examples…

I suspect that this painted coke commercial (one of the last painted commercials in the city) will disappear in a few weeks when a new building will be raised right next to the wall.

Mixing Street Art and Contemporary Art, the Farm Prod crew gathers ten artists.
They met during their studies at Saint Luc (Tournai - BE) and then moved to Brussels where they had a studio in the Tagawa Hotel.

Martine te kiffe.
Ik was danig ontroerd door deze stickeractie waarbij niemand minder dan Martine liet blijken dat ze een zwak heeft voor ondergetekende.
Navraag leerde me dat het een kleine propaganda actie betreft van een Parijse juffrouw die op haar tocht door het leven haar stickers achterlaat in winkels, cafés en op andere plaatsen die ze simpelweg cool vindt.

Ondertussen probeer ik met de jonkvrouw in kwestie contact te leggen, tot dusver zonder noemenswaardig resultaat…

Iemand vertelde me onlangs dat de makers van ‘In De Gloria’ hun interieurs gevonden hebben nadat ze een zoekertje geplaatst hadden.
Het kan nog ietsje directer. (naar analogie met de dreadlocks promo)

In Eurabia beschrijft Arthur Van Amerongen Brussel als “een wonderlijk amalgaam van peepshows, peeskamers, frituren, kebabzaken, slijterijen, staminees met zatte hoerenlopers, islamitische boekhandels en illegale moskeeën. De islam woekert en gedijt hier, als een roos op een mestvaalt.”
Hij heeft het in zijn omstreden boek uitgebreid over het toenemend aantal bebaarde jongeheren die zich op hun geloof terugplooien.
Ik heb ook een probleem met baarden, maar dan eerder uit esthetische overwegingen. Thans zie ik met lede ogen aan hoe de opgang niet te stuiten is van wat ik enkel kan omschrijven als de ‘schipbreukelingenlook’.
